| Chittagong Education Board has been functioning as an ideal institute although facing many problems. The education board authority purchase 3.48 acres of land, given taka 2 crore from Bangladesh Railway financed by themselves. Begum Khaleda Zia, the Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh laid the foundation stone of the Education Board Complex in 19th April, 2004. At present the construction work for Education Board Complex and residential building for official staff is going ahead rapidly.
The Chittagong board controls 880 Secondary and 168 Higher Secondary level institutions of five districts Chittagong, Cox'sbazar, Khagrachari and Bandarban in Govt. and non Govt. sector. |
