| Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board is an autonomous body and its business functions under the supervision of Ministry of Education of GoB. The Chairman is the Chief Executive Officer of the board. The Chairman and twelve members of different categories comprise a board committee approved by the ministry for 3 (Three) years which is responsible for smooth functioning of the board. Moreover there are several more committees formed according to ordinance
and related rules, viz.

(2) Finance Committee,
(3) Selection Committee,
(4) Regulation Committee,
(5) Appeal and Arbitration committee,
(6) Curricula and Courses of Studies Committee,
(7) Science and Education Committee,
(8) Technical Education Committee,
(9) Industrial Education Committee,
(10) Agricultural Education Committee,
(11)Commercial Education Committee,
(12) Physical Education Committee,
(13) Girl’s Education Committee,
(14) Examination
Committee,
(15) Name and Age Correction Committee
(16) Recognition and Centre Committee
(17) Disciplinary Committee and so on.
